Dear members and guests of InterN0T,
Welcome back to the forums! We're pleased to announce, that we've returned again, and that we're
now located at another hosting provider, due to 1and1 shut us down when we most likely, became too
big for them to host, plus they didn't agree with the content we host. Read about it here

What has happened?
The most recent backup we had, was from the summer of 2011, as 1and1 also deleted all our backups we had stored on their servers.
It would've been a better solution to store these off site, but in case of a local compromise we didn't. From now on, we will perform
complete server backups so if something bad happens, we will roll back the server and everything will be fine again.
Besides that, we've of course been so lucky to avoid another vBSEO exploit that was found a couple of days ago, that infected thousands
of hosts, due to yet another dynamically evaluate so on the other hand, the good thing is we weren't around to be affected by that vulnerability
as it's patched now. We've also upgrade the forums to the most recent version, which includes new features, including many bugfixes, one being
the "friends" tab on profile pages now works again, and much more.
We've also, added extra layers of security, and some of them will automatically ban attackers. It will be safe to post on the webserver, but trying
to gain access to any other service on the webhost can result in a permanent ban. We've of course only made the minimum amount of services
needed available to the public, as the rest are dummy service waiting for e.g., port scanners to reach.
Even though some of the threads disappeared, and perhaps a few attachments and avatars in the process, overall, the forums are back and fully working.
There is still some work to do, such as re-implementing the last skin we were using, fixing the errors in that, and of course, adding some of the custom
modifications we had made before too.
Our IRC channel has been quite alive though, and it's good to see the community didn't because of the website was down for a very long time.
